Est-ce qu' "au cours d'une heure" ne s'emploie pas du tout ? ou bien cela signifie autre chose ?

Et "d'ici une heure" (ex, #335193) ?

Non, « au cours d'une heure » n'est pas du tout possible dans ce contexte.

C'est possible si vous faites une constatation (scientifique, philosophique...) de ce qui se passe au cours d'une heure :

« Dieu sait ce qui peut arriver au cours d'une heure ! »
