Reason: I feel like there must be a better way to say it than "perpendicular street", but nothing is coming to mind for me.

Also, isn't 穿过马路 "to cross the street", rather than "to take"?

I agree that it is highly unlikely that we would say 'perpendicular street' - I'm not even sure what is meant here.

"go two blocks, turn, and follow that road", maybe.

But not everyone uses the block system...

It might be helpful if a Chinese speaker (e.g. minshirui :-) explained in detail the meaning of the Chinese sentence. From what I gather, it's something like "cross the second (perpendicular) street and you're there", but I'm not 100% sure.

hehe, sorry, I have made one more modification to this sentence. The meaning seems to me to be "go straight until you hit the second crossing street, and then cross that street", which is then as open to interpretation in English as it is in Chinese. However, I felt that "intersection" would sound better in English and it is still factually faithful to the Chinese.

Practically speaking, I'd say something like "it's on the other side of the second intersection". However, that's probably too liberal of a translation of the Chinese.

I'm okay with this version, and will remove the tag, unless any other native speakers object...
