
Isn't this sentence stange? Shouldn't it be "She's washing her skirt"?

I wonder what this sentence means with simple present.

She does it by herself. - maybe, but it says her skirt and not her skirts, so still a bit strange

"What does she do when she needs to relax?" "She washes her skirt."
:)

"She's washing her skirt" would be more likely and fit more situations than "She washes her skirt", but both are grammatically okay.
