hi, CK
>Does 文字に起こして mean the same thing as 書き取り?
Almost same meaning.
文字に起こす mean "to translate into written words".
For example, "to write down a speech, to make contract sheet from a verbal promise".
On the other hand, 書き取る include "to take memo from a document".
So, I think 書き取る have more general meaning.
> Does 次の授業では mean the same as "do this by the next class" or "do this as homework for the next class"?
I think they have different meanings.
次の授業では mean " in the next class." though,
"do this by the next class" can translate into 「次の授業までにこれをする」
and "do this as for homework for the next class" 「次の授業の宿題としてこれをする」
I see.
Thanks for your pointing out.
