    Why two Esperanto versions are so different? Please check whether both are correct.

    But they mean the same thing, don't they?

    Just in one version, they wrote Jaques like it's written in the original language, and in another it's written phonetically.

    One says the age just as the English sentence, the other one says: has fourteen years.

    Yes they do mean the same, just two dofferent ways of saying the age, like what exist in English too: he has 14 years.
