Punctuation could be improved. To prevent the English grammar fault called a comma splice, two independent clauses must be separated either with a comma plus 'and', by a period or by a semicolon.

Please cut this piece of wood into two pieces. The total length of it is one meter; I need the first piece to be 80cm, and the other should be 20cm.

In the next period I have many English sentences that I need to translate into Indonesian/Minang

So what I do now is the following:
1. Search for a similar sentence in tatoeba (sometimes I don't find a similar one)
2. If I find it so I skip step 3
3. I add an English sentence (Because it's really a need here to say it)
4. Translate it into Arabic / Egyptian Arabic (because it's my native language)
5. Ask my indonesian/minang friends for the native translation for it. (I try to mention someone from the tatoeba community, also try to reach one of the friends around my house here)


And for step (3) from now on, I'll refer to a native English speaker to review it.
I'll make a TODO in a google keep note, or evernote to make sure all of my English sentences are reviewed by a native English speaker, no worries about this.
