Pour cette raison, dans la langue littéraire, lorsque celui-ci est précédé d'un verbe terminé par un « e » atone ou muet, on ajoute un accent aigu (l'accent grave est également toléré) sur le « e » final du verbe, ceci afin de lui conserver son accent tonique et d'éviter la succession de deux « e » atones :

De quoi parlé-je ? Puissé-je réussir ! De quoi parlè-je ? Puissè-je réussir !
