It's not UK English.

I wasn't looking at the first one on the list.

これをあなたに差し上げます。

That's completely different, and doesn't match the original English at all.

これは君のためなんだ。

That one has the meaning "I'm doing this for you.", "This is for your sake." Most likely 'this' is something that the spoken to does not want to be done (although there may be no alternative).

I suppose "This is for you." would do for the second case, but is easily misinterpreted.

Incidentally, there was an exact match for the sentence from the web.
