Mi longe dubis, ĉu tia frazo estas erara, aŭ ne. De la aŭtoro de PMEG mi ricevis la jenan respondon:

Oni celas difinitan personon, sed uzas nur "patro" sen "la". Tio estas esence erara. Aldonu "la", kaj ĉio jam estas ege pli bona. Tamen eĉ kun "la patro" estas ankoraŭ ne tute evidente, ke temas ĝuste pri via patro, nur pri konata patro. Ĉar ne ekzistas kunteksto ĉi tie „mia patro” sendube estas pli klara.
