"On m'a dit" n'est pas correct, "he is said to be" ça n'implique pas qu'on te l'ait dit, mais qu'il a cette réputation là, c'est quelque chose qui se dit.

"Il paraît qu'il parle sans notes" ou qqchose dans ce style peut-être ?
