Hey.
"Due to the crisis" isn't totally the same as "desde que hay crisis" : the latter only implies that both events occured at the same time, when the former states that one is the outcome of the other.
¿Me explico? :)

"desde que" would be translated into English as "since" which implies a certain cause and effect relationship between the two events. "Due to" can be a synonym for "since", and sounds more natural in the sentence. To guard a more direct translation you could say, "Management has even cut back on toilet paper since the crisis."

If you consider both sentences equivalent, would you mind changing for the second one ? I'd then be able to link it with the French one :)
