I guess this sentence doesn't match the English [#1944901] and the Spanish [#2100119]:
estis konata (past tense) ≠ know / conocen (present tense)
Please could someone check it?
I confirm that my esperanto translation matches with the English #1944901.
However, the sentence [#1944901] says:
All the villagers know him. = Li *estas konata de ĉiuj vilaĝanoj.
"Li *estis konata de ĉiuj vilaĝanoj" would be "All the villagers *knew him" or "He *was known to everybody in the village": [#291112].
The Spanish sentence [#2100119] stays in the present tense, too:
Todos los pobladores lo *conocen.
