
Tanaka Corpus sentences (the ones that have the tag) have a way to be dealt with, which is why it's not recommended to change them unless absolutely necessary.

For now, something you could do is translate existing Japanese sentences already owned by native speakers into English, while you get used to the infrastructure here

Some of them are more complex, since most of the simpler ones are already linked to English, so just do the ones you feel comfortable with.
You could theoretically also translate from English to Japanese, although that's not really recommended without native speaker supervision.
