Judging by the sentence numbers, this sentence seems to be a translation of the French. But it uses the present tense where the French uses the past tense. I think it should use זרחו instead of זורחים.

You're right, the Hebrew should have been in the past tense.
i.e., זרחו instead of זורחים.
But I wouldn't use לזרוח for the moon and the stars. I would use האירו instead.
I believe לזרוח should be used only regarding the sun.
I'm not sure whether Dardasavta still receives mail from Tatoeba.
Dardasavta was last active in 2011, so I think that you or any other corpus maintainer should feel free to change it.
הירח והכוכבים זרחו מעלינו
do not replace by HEIRU
YAREAH ZOREAH is a common saying
Interesting. Ok, if you say so.
As Dadasavta hasn't been active for a long time, I corrected the sentence.
I just heard today that Dardasaba is not a saba it is Dardas Aba
Nice... ;-)
השכלתני.
