    I agree. This sentence has a different meaning. If you say 'Ich habe gern Fremdsprachen' you say 'I like having foreign languages', but not 'I like languages'. If you want to express the latter, it HAS TO BE 'Ich habe Fremdsprachen gern' or 'Ich mag Fremdsprachen'. Or maybe even 'Mir gefallen Fremdsprachen' or 'Ich finde Fremdsprachen toll.' However, the meaning of your sentence is not correct.
