Should this be: "During the night" instead of "tonight" ?

and also maybe: "I recorded all the noises" ?

I think I like the last one the best.


I assume that by the verb tense "took a record" in the original that he is referring to the night that he just woke up from.

No 4 seems fine to me, too, but without the "of", i.e. Last night, I recorded all the sounds I made while I was sleeping.
