This change doesn't bother me, though TRANG asks us not to change sentences that are correct.
BTW, "goalkeeper" seems to be the more popular usage. I wonder if there are some sports in which "goalkeeper" would be considered the wrong choice.
Perhaps "netball" is one of the sports that use "goal keeper."

In football, the current way of spelling it is 'goalkeeper' (and has been for at least all my lifetime).
I've reverted it to "goal keeper" and tagged it netball.
