This sentence seems incorrect in the Italian. The word "fix" in English can mean two things 1-to repair 2-to set firmly in one place, as in "affix." The Italian verb "fissare" does not carry the first English meaning in the Collins dictionary. Shouldn't the Italian sentence be "Mi è stato chiesto di riparare la bicicletta." ? I don't know how one could "affix" a bike.
