May 25th 2010, 17:12The [M] and [F] tags were used to denote whether the Japanese sentence of a pair from the Tanaka Corpus used masculine or feminine language. They are not that important, and the long term aim is to store meta data outside of the sentences themselves. However there is usually no need to get rid of them.
