"Com certeza" is "surely", "certainly". I believe it's the right expression here if we wish to render "seguramente".

"provavelmente" is "probably", which means that we aren't certain.

at least here it isn't, seguramente means probably, not certainly :P

On second thought and having looked it up, I'm not sure it can't be interpreted in both ways (although in Spain it just has the sense I previously mentioned); now I acknowledge I'm confused :S

Yes, I believe both senses are in use, depending on the context. Maybe in the context at hand, both variants can be accepted (as we are not sure about the tone (and the meaning) of the speaker :-)).

I'd rather have a South American Spanish speaker check it, because the María Moliner dictionary clearly states that it doesn't mean "certainly" :S

Here in Chile, "seguramente" actually corresponds to the word "likely" more than "certainly" or "surely".
In my opinion, "seguramente" and "surely" don't correspond.

Basicamente, "com certeza" indica CERTIFICAÇÃO, mas também pode ser usada como "em minha opinião".
=> Ele quebrou as duas pernas, com CERTEZA não andará (é impossível que ele ande).
=> Ele é um drogado, com certeza (em minha opinião, ele é um drogado).

"Provavelmente" remete ao possível, mas também pode indicar certificação (apesar de eu não usar este último).
=> Não veio à escola, provavelmente perdeu hora (pode ser que tenha perdido).
=> Você não come nada há dias! Provavelmente vai desmaiar no jogo (é certo que você vai desmaiar).

Acredito que sim, pois indica também convicção.

@marcelostockle, ¿puedes poner algunas oraciones con "de seguro"?

Mas em espanhol não indica convicção, indica provabilidade, por exemplo: "seguramente llegará a tiempo" quer dizer que é muito provável que essa pessoa chegue a tempo, mas não tenho certeza/convicção que isso aconteça.

Confesso que desconhecia o fato de que "seguramente" indicava probabilidade.
