How about 看幾次電影 ?
please change the question mark into a ?

"看幾次電影 ?" would not be a faithful translation from the English. Its meaning would be closer to "How many times have you seen the movie?", not "How often do you go to the movies every month?"

I think its meaning (看幾次電影) matches that of the English. Well let's ask a native.

I agree with U2FS. "How many times have you seen the movie?" would be "這部電影你看了幾次?"

I am sorry, but I believe you are both losing sight of the original question at hand and have not answered how the proposed change addressed the original requirement. How do the proposed changes handle the qualifier "every month"?

Maybe just by keeping the original syntax of the sentence and turn it into "你一個月看幾次電影?" (for the whole sentence) ? I meant 看幾次電影 instead of 看電影幾次 if that wasn't clear.
btw, welcome to Tatoeba! :)

Oh, I see now. You were proposing a change to the fragment, not to the entire sentence.
Yeah, in this case 幾次 should be placed between the verb and object. (In practice, I suspect actual usage goes both ways.)
