  1. I'm not receiving mail notification from Tatoeba
    • Indeed there was something not configured properly with the emails. The notifications should be back now.
  2. Hello everyone! I'm new to this community so I'm still a bit lost here. This does sound like an interesting and a fun project though so I'd be happy to contribute!
I'm from Finland so Finnish is my native language. I also speak (pretty much) fluent English and Swedish. Also I'm currently studying French. Gosh, I hope that I'm writing this to the right place.
    • Bienvenue !

Oui, c'est le bon endroit !

    • Welcome to Tatoeba, Skie. As a Turk, I'm glad to see an another Finlander here. :)
    • Hello,

Welcome to Tatoeba. This is really a very good Project, I'm sure you're gonna like it a lot, of course, you're gonna learn a lot here as well.

      Greetings from Brazil!
  3. Is there a way to get the languages in the drop down menus to show up ::in:: the language (like on Wikipedia)?
    For example:
    ...
    Ελληνικά
    English
    Español
    ...
    • That would require that you create a new UI version in Launchpad. The question would be : what will you name this UI version...

If this is important enough for you to make it worth your time to write a userscript, here's a hint on how to do it.

      • It's probably faster to copy an existing UI in Launchpad and change the language names according to what you want than writing a script...
      • Actually, there already is a script ("Tatoeba default languages") by FlamingTofu (that lets you move the languages you use most to the top of the drop-down list and call them whatever you like (including their native names). The script can be installed from here:

        http://userscripts.org/scripts/review/152983

The source code can be edited to customize the list of languages, their order, and their representation.
        • Oh, nice, that saves me a lot of work! Thanks!
  4. I had two lists I had made a few days ago that disappeared. Was that because of the crash?
    • I also had a couple of lists disappear.

      Probably.
  5. ¿Cómo traducirían esto http://tatoeba.org/spa/sentences/show/2429230 en japonés?
    • Dejé mi intento en los comentarios de esa página.
  6. Ich habe in den letzten Tagen keine E-Mail-Benachrichtigungen von Komentaren zu meinen Sätzen bekommen, obwohl die automatische Benachrichtigung aktiviert war. Kann es mit der zurückliegenden Störung zusammenhängen?
    • Probably, I'm not receiving e-mail notifications either...
  7. I've restored pretty much everything except the wall, no sentences should have been lost.

For the wall It may take a little longer, but at the end, we also should lost 0 message.
  8. The English interface should say "Sentences in [Language A] not translated into English" rather than "Sentences in [Language A] not translated in English" on pages like this: http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentence...in/heb/eng/eng
  9. This FAQ page:

    http://tatoeba.org/eng/faq#change-language

has a bullet item at the top entitled "How to change the language of a sentence". However, it refers to a nonexistent anchor, so clicking on the item does nothing. It would be nice to fix this before the content is used as the basis for a wiki page.
