Thank you all.

Sorry if this is too minor for posting on the wall, but I thought one of the advanced contributors might be willing to clean it up. There are two Chinese sentences owned by Martha that are identical except for an extra space inserted incorrectly after an open quote. I posted a comment on one of the sentences 26 days ago, but nothing has changed. I looked at Martha's profile, and it looks like she hasn't been on the site since last June.
Is anyone able to remove the extra space so that the automatic merge can deal with them?

thanks,
Don

The flash card files work with Mnemosyne, and that runs on Windows, GNU/Linux, and Mac. I've personally run it on Windows XP and Ubuntu.

Unless you're running OS/2, you should be fine.

Thanks for the great resource, everyone. I've used the Chinese sentences to build some reading practice for English speakers learning to read Chinese. It's a set of almost 4000 sentences that only use the 500 most common characters, with more common characters at the start.

It works well together with the flash card files I generated for Chinese characters:

I'd love to hear any feedback if you try these out.
