I am able to see the translations I contributed with in Spanish on the developers site but not yet on tatoeba website. Have I done something wrong or maybe I should wait some more time?

The sentence data from the developer's site is never transferred to this actual site! If you want to contribute any translations, you should do it in tatoeba.org (this page), not in dev.tatoeba.org. As it is written on the top of the developer's page, "Warning: this website is for testing purposes. Everything you submit will be definitely lost."

Ok, but I mean I used transifex which is the current page for translating. I was told that after you translate your content, it will visible within ten minutes in the developers site tatoeba. That is fine, but I am asking when shall I see the updates on tatoeba main page. Not yet shown.

Ah, of course. :) Try refreshing the page without cache (in Windows ctrl + F5).

You need to wait until the next update, which happens whenever Trang decides (every one or two week, sometimes less frequently). Everytime an update is done, Trang posts a message here on the Wall and on the blog http://blog.tatoeba.org/.

You wrote earlier that the UI translations are updated from Transifex to dev.tatoeba every ten minutes (http://tatoeba.org/fin/wall/sho...essage_20998). Has this changed since?

No. Let me rephrase that.

Translations displayed on http://dev.tatoeba.org/ are pulled from Transifex every ten minutes.

Translations displayed on http://tatoeba.org/ are pulled from Transifex every time an update is done, which happens whenever Trang decides (every one or two weeks, sometimes less frequently). On both http://tatoeba.org/ and http://dev.tatoeba.org/, hopefully you shouldn’t need to refresh your browser cache any more to see updated translations. Just (re)load the page and they should come up.
