Help?
To get all bul <> eng couples, I tried
http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentence...ne/indifferent
That returned all bul sentences, translated or not.
What should I change?

Ok, thank you! I'll try this :D
Since you native language is Bulgarian, I suggest that you don't add any English translations to Tatoeba, but rather add new Bulgarian sentences or translate English sentences into Bulgarian.
This is the search you need in that case: http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentence...nly-with-audio
I also chose only sentences with audio because they tend to be more accurate and are checked at least by one native speaker.
> I suggest that you don't add any English translations to Tatoeba
That was never my intention ;) I needed this type of search for another purpose.
@korobo4ka, wouldn't this work for your needs?
http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentence...n/eng/none/bul
This should reveal several pages of English sentences that do not yet have a Bulgarian translation. If you could add the missing translations, it would be a good service indeed.
(NOTE: I just saw Silja's reply, and it is better advice than what I offered. Try this:
http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentence...nly-with-audio )
Ok, just to make it clear:
1. What Silja proposed has nothing to do with what I needed help with.
2. My question has already been answered.
3. I do not intend to add English sentences.
I know how to find not-yet-translated-sentences-with-audio.
I've been translating from English and other languages into Bulgarian for quite a long time now and I don't know what made you think I do otherwise.
4. Please, I'm on my PMS, have mercy.
I feel you, sister!
If you know how to programme or know some who knows how to, you can also download all the sentences and links between the sentences and then filter out the English-Bulgarian-English sentence pairs. I don't know if this is a useful option since I don't know for what purpose you need the sentence pairs. :)
There is actually one way to do this. It requires some little change to Tatoeba: allow searches with empty keywords. It’s not very intuitive but the idea is that if you don’t provide keywords, any sentence matches, and only the "From" and "To" fields act as filter. Your post reminded me I wanted to do that change for some time, so I gave it a try today. You can test it here http://dev.tatoeba.org/eng/sent...om=bul&to=eng, this site contains a freezed copy of tatoeba.org from two weeks ago. The drawback is that it only shows you a maximum of 1000 sentences. While I was at it, I also included the real number of search results in the title (when it’s limited to 1000 while there are actually more occurrences in the corpus).
Thank you, gillux, I tried the empty query search with several languages and yes, that's exactly what I had in mind (without the 1000 sentences limitation :) ). This kind of search would have made it possible to do an online proofreading of sentence pairs, sorted by language (for example, only sentences translated from English to Bulgarian). Which seemed like a nice option, especially for a small-scale corpus like the Bulgarian one.
