(One of my goals here on Tatoeba is to make the corpus as interconnected as possible. I constantly look for English, Spanish, Lojban, sometimes Chinese, and very rarely simple Esperanto sentences to link together, when it makes sense. This makes the corpus a lot more useful for someone who's trying to learn a language other than English and not using English as their L1, as English sort of seems to be the largest focal point that many translations are based off. It also makes it more likely that people will see duplicate through indirect translations before posting them.)
I really hope Tatoeba gets the duplicate removal system working though, because I really don't think most users should have to go through that much work with every sentence they post...
