So, I have some interesting news, for everyone here who enjoys having audio for sentences.
Folks from Mozilla contacted us recently. Basically they're working on this project, Common Voice ( https://voice.mozilla.org/ ), and would like to explore ways to collaborate with Tatoeba.
I had a short meeting with them on Tuesday, they're very excited to work together with us and I also think it'd be awesome if we could somehow join forces with them.
We'll have to see where this leads us, nothing has been decided, we're still in the phase of discussing about our respective projects/goals. So don't expect sudden changes ^^
I just wanted to briefly let you guys know about this, and I'd be happy to hear your thoughts :)

@CK, that seems like an easy to fix issue. Mozilla being Mozilla I'm sure they'd be more than happy to properly attribute each sentence when they're displaying it.
@TRANG This is exciting news - let us know what they need from a technical perspective.

It's actually not that easy ^^
As for what they need, basically they need CC-0 compatible content that they can make users read. So far they've collected this content by just asking people to submit sentences via their GitHub issues (https://github.com/mozilla/voice-web/issues/341). This is obviously not their long term solution :P
I'll leave it to you to imagine all the things we could do :)
