The English sentence has changed. Please change this one too or unlink it from the English one.

I haven't the power to do that, as you WELL know since you were a member of the secret committee that decided to remove it from me...
But a principle of Tatoeba states that correct sentences should not be changed. The sentence I translated from was correct so it should be changed back to its former shape.

*have it unlinked, sorry.

Which I've done, by the way.

(@Sacredceltic, don't take it bad, but just to say btw that it's only me and Trang who decided to remove it to you and FeuDRenais, nobody else, after whatever you think of the decision, just to make things clear about "who" take this kind of decision, it was a purely dictatorship decision, no secret committee)

Well, Swift says otherwise...

Swift wrote: "Do you know why we argued for you being stripped of your "trusted user" status? On my part, and those whom I discussed the matter with agreed, it was due to your inability to interact with other users in a respectful, reciprocal manner."

Funny how different stories are being told...

I rememeber FeuDrenais also wrote to me that he had participated on a discussion on IRC on this matter (so he was part of the judgement and I wasn't...tell me about fair justice!). And other members also reported the same...

:-) No he doesn't.

anyway, I would agree with you that Swift tends to identify the community to his own self, the same way as Louis the XIVth used to do with France. Everytime he lectures me he writes "we" as the King used to do, as if he was speaking for the entire world. The first time he ever wrote to me, I remember, it completely stonished me and I couldn't understand what this guy I didn't know at all would want, and in the name of whom...

*astonished

The mistery is also how on earth, a guy who doesn't understand french propoerly could ever judge the level of respect of a debate in french...I think somehow the respect got lost in translation...
