Can't tell at a glance which of the 4 English sentences came first, but "Bugün oldukça sıcak" is the correct translation for "It is rather warm today," "It is pretty warm today," and "It's quite warm today," but is an incorrect translation for "Today is extremely hot." How did "Today is extremely hot" get thrown into the mix?

Even without the Turkish translation, it is obvious "Today is extremely hot" is the odd one out among the other English sentences.

I agree with DostKaplan and I think "pretty warm" comes first.

Because if I had to translate all these four English sentences separately, I would say:

Today is extremely hot. = Bugün feci sıcak.

It's quite warm today. = Bugün epey sıcak.

It is rather warm today. = Bugün pek sıcak.

and

It is pretty warm today. = Bugün oldukça sıcak.


These are what I would use for these adjectives, yet I'm not sure if I would translate 'hot' and 'warm' as the same thing. Just focus on adjectives.

Seems like an easy fix: just disassociate "Today is extremely hot" from this Turkish sentence. :-)
