謙譲語の使い方に関する確認なんですが、私が習った限り、「伺う」はすでに自分の立場を低くする言葉なので、一般の謙譲語の「お～する」に形を変えるのは間違っていると教わりました。日本語母語話者はよくする間違いだと先生が指摘しました。このことを、敬語の使い方に詳しい人が、確認してくれませんか？

敬語について詳しくはないのですが、調べてみたのでまとめます。

二重敬語について文化庁は「一般に適切ではないとされているが、語によっては習慣として定着しているものもある」として、例に「お伺いする」を挙げています。

結果を政府関係に限定するために「"お伺い" go.jp」で検索した結果、「質問する」の意味で使っているページの方が多かったのですが、「訪問する」の意味で使っているページもいくつか見つかりました。
