Both sentences have been updated since my comment. They're now consistent.
But I still think that if a sentence in Japanese is correct, it should be adopted by a native, so somebody receives further comments when they arise.

My view is that if it's a correct sentence and you're a native, you should adopt it regardless of potential translation issues that are then sub-problems to be subsequently solved, either through correction, or through unlinking, when cascading corrections prove too complicated.
By adopting the sentence, since you are a native, you inform everybody that the sentence is most probably in itself correct. That enables other contributors to exclude most of the probability that translation problems arise from an incorrect original (although you still might be mistaken). It thus contributes greatly to the resolution of translation issues and to the stabilisation of the translation tree.

Actually, I trust more a sentence that has been adopted by a native who is not its author, than a sentence that has been directly authored by the same, because in the first case, it has been proof-read at least once...

Thank you for your opinion. From now on, I will try to adopt harder, though I'm still thinking about how to deal with sentences which look correct but don't fit my taste.

You can always at least rephrase and insert them as variants...
But in my case, I just ignore a lot of sentences that I don't like...
