"superior" is a relative term. It by definition requires comparison, either implicit or explicit. Does this sentence make sense?

The change was made in 2018. What is the policy on reverting a sentence that is accurate now and has been there for 4 years?

I don't know the policy, but my gut says that in a situation like this that one could simply add a new sentence rather than revert anything. Still, that's just what my gut says.
