The second {lo prenu} needs a terminator or {cu} to separate it from {catra lo prenu}
Stylistically, you could use {ba'e} before {lo prenu} in the second sentence to indicate contrast (since, at least in English, "People" at the beginning of the second sentence would be highlighted in speech to indicate contrast).
OR you could stick {cu du} in between {lo prenu catra} and the following {lo prenu}, if that was the original meaning intended. I don't think {lo broda lo brode} is a complete sentence -- it's more like somebody's answer to a question involving two {ma}'s.
Thanks. Somehow I still forget "cu" in these simple sumti-selbri-sumti sentences...
"ba'e" would be okay but I don't think I would emphasize "people" that much in the English sentence. (I think the contrast is enough to get the point across.)
Feel free to add another sentence if you would say it more like papabear. ;-)
