Non. Les 2 orthographes sont correctes. La mienne est peut-être minoritaire, mais c'est celle qui m'a été enseignée et que j'ai toujours usitée.

Bon, ben ils l'ont retiré, parce que j'ai déjà eu ce débat et vérifié là.
Le fait est que si vous regardez l'étymologie d'enclencher, vous trouvez « clanche » attesté depuis 1441.
Voici quelques références dans l'édition française, moderne et ancienne :

Cette orthographe est certes minoritaire mais elle existe, tout comme « clinche », également.
Je soupçonne que certaines régions emploient uniquement l'une ou uniquement l'autre...
L'origine est certainement onomatopéique, et probablement d'origine germanique, qui explique une certaine incertitude sur la transcription de la sonorité...
