Kontraste al la angla indas ĉi tie aldoni la difinajn artikolojn uzatajn en la franca, hispana kaj germana. Temas pri la homo ĝenerale kaj pri la naturo (nur unu, tial difinita).

En la anglo ekz. uzo de "man" — not "a man" but "man" — funkcias kvazaŭ speco de nevidebla difina artikolo.
