Fakte, mi tradukis la nederlandan "kerel" per "knabego". La traduka vortaro Esperanto - nederlanda - Esperanto de Petro De Smedt tradukas "kerel" per "knabego, virego".
La nederlanda frazo estis traduko de la angla, en kiu oni uzis la vorton "guy", por kiu vorto mi trovis (interalie) tradukon "ulo".
Mi vidas, ke la malaltsaksa havas vorton "Keerl", kiu tre similas al la nederlanda "kerel".
Mi ĵus trovis la germanan "Kerl".
Niaj gepatraj lingvoj estas proksimaj, ĉu ne?
