IMHO English translation is not very exact. It seems like it says "To hide the head but leave the arse unprotected." in Japanese.

@nanbanjin: In Japanese it rather says, "(Even) Hiding the head, will still show the ass (to others)." ;-)

I think so, too. Japanese sentence is rather about someone who is not good at hiding anything, I reckon.
