「どう思いますか。」is plain wrong. A literal version could be 「何を思いますか」 but since I'm not a __native__ Japanese speaker, I ask the help of a Japanese person to correct this.
「どう思いますか。」正しくなくて、日本人は正しいのを見せてください。
I think you are wrong in this case... Let's wait for the comment of some Japanese native speaker, though.
@riccioberto
You are right let's wait for a native comment. Anyway, in my understanding, 「どう思いますか」 is more "What do you __about__ [something]", and it is usually found in compounds like「。。。VERBーてどうおもいますか」.
Cheers
どう思いますか。is correct as the translation for "What do you think?"
Yes, the literal meaning is 何を思いますか, but we don't say like that.
We tend to be wrong saying "How do you think?" as the translation for "どう思いますか". :)
@bunbuku
Thank you for clarifying.
