Kann ein Ort mit Büchern möbliert werden? Bücher sind immerhin keine Möbel. Also ich stolpere schon sehr über diesen Satz - und für mich hört es sich sehr nach einer allzu wörtlichen Übersetzung aus dem Englischen an. Ich würde

"Sie statteten die Bibliothek mit vielen Büchern aus."

vorziehen. Alternativ: "Die vielen neuen Bücher möbelten die Bibliothek auf." ;-)
