Doesn't match Japanese I think
I think that could be as a translation. I feel it's a kind of description in a novel.
@JimBreen @CK What do you think？
There's no "I saw", and the "naked" is implied. It uses an expression that is in several dictionaries:
滝に打たれる （たきにうたれる） (exp,v1) to stand under a waterfall (as spiritual training)
I don't think it's much use as an example sentence.
I'm still used to things being spelled out for me (otherwise my brain's logic can't click), not used to so many things being dropped in Japanese
Maybe I had too much imagination for the sentence. :P
As JimBreen said, "There's no 'I saw', and the 'naked' is implied".
I have to admit some people stand under the waterfall in white.
I've added my translation for the English, and I'll unlink this sentence.
Thanks. I'm using your new sentence as an example for 滝に打たれる.
