1. Il n'est plus un enfant. = He is no longer a child.

2. Il n'a plus d'enfant. = He no longer has a child.

It is the 1st one which works here.

Yes, but the English is not a direct translation of the French.
This sentence has but one direct link: [#459177] (Él ya no es un niño).
Could someone check this translation please? I believe it doesn't match either.

Ah okay. Unfortunately I don't speak Spanish, but the sentence "Él ya no es un niño" seems rather to mean "Il n'est plus un enfant".

Could a Spanish-French translator help please?

The French translation is wrong. Marafon is right. I will correct the sentence, since the author is not active anymore.
