While OK in a certain context, perhaps this isn't a good example for a dictionary.
(If you looked at this Japanese, that English is not what would first pop into your mind.)

I'd be worried if it were the only example for 成功 or 祈る. As it happens there are over 700 sentences with 成功 and about 50 with 祈る, so it's not a big issue but it might be safer to take it out of the examples list.
