אני מתלבט בתיקון כאן, כי כך כותבים לא מעט ישראלים כיום, ואני חושב שהמילה "לאכלס" נמצאת אט אט בתהליך של מעתק סמנטי בעברית המודרנית (אני משתדל לתקן את זה בעיקר בוויקיפדיה, בערכים שכך כתבו בהם). בכל אופן, מיני בעלי החיים אמורים לאכלס את יערות הגשם, ולא להפך. הדירה מאוכלסת, ולא מאכלסת את דייריה.

מהווה בית גידול ל
אבל זה מסורבל
גם "חיים בהם" כמו שכתבו באנגלית - צמחים לא חיים לפי הבנתי

האמת שכן, אבל... עפעס, לא שיא האלגנטיות. אני מניח שזה כך כי אנחנו לא רגילים לומר את זה כך, אז זה לא נשמע הכי חלק לדובר ילידי. אבל מבחינת נכונות השפה - אייזן :)
