The translation "The chest is three feet wide." is incorrect, can we unlink these? It's wrong for three reasons: (1) 1 is not 3 (2) "knapp" = "just under" or "almost" is missing (3) "Meter" is not "feet".

I guess the logic is this:
"three feet" is a little less than 1 metre. So the translation of "3 feet" is "knapp ein Meter".
