Ĉu eble "Estas bonŝance, ke Tomo ankoraŭ vivas"?

Laŭ la registroj mi tradukis la anglan frazon. Laŭ mia kompreno la angla frazo diras, ke Tom estas feliĉa pro la fakto, ke li estas vivanta. Mi provis esprimi, ke tiu fakto feliĉigas (ĉefe) Tomon.
Oni povus imagi, ke aliuloj (ekzemple teroristoj, atakintoj, ...) ne tiel feliĉas pro tiu fakto.

Vi povus ekzemple proponi: "Tomo havas la bonŝancon ankoraŭ vivi". Ne hezitu aldoni tiun frazon, se ĝi plaĉas al vi.
