「先祖の墓参り」の方が、よく使われるように思います。
祖先: ある血統、家系で、いちばんはじめにあたる人。また、それを継いできた先代以前の人々。
先祖: 初代以後、代々の家系に連なり、その家の御霊屋（みたまや）にまつられている人。
