shouldn't the "Father" be capitalized here?
No, why? It doesn't refer to God here? Or is there some weird rule in English that "Father" has to be capitalized while "the father", "my father", "his father" don't?
I think there is a rule that says that "Father", when it refers to the father of the person who's speaking, if it carries no article, has to be capitalized.

I don't remember a certain rule that I read about it, but I believe Shishir is right - for those cases in which you refer to *your own* father, i.e., the father of the narrator in the sentence.
according to the French and Spanish sentences, it would match better "Father"
