I think there might be a decrepancy between English and German here in terms of tense. Is he or will he be numbered ?

"is numbered" matches the Japanese. If the German or French are "will be numbered" then they need to be unlinked (or changed).

there is no discrepancy of tense:
"wird gezählt" is present passive
the future (passive) would be "wird gezählt werden"
