What does the Japanese mean, @small_snow or @Pfirsichbaeumchen?
The Japanese simply translates as, "She (liked the dress very much/really liked the dress), but didn't buy it." I think "She did not buy the dress, although she liked it very much" would also match just fine.
I suppose the Russian can be unlinked either way because "платье" is "dress" and "одежда" is "clothes", but let's wait for Marina's reply. :)
