Also "TV-Sender" or "Fernsehsender" instead of "Lieblingssender"(<-favourite TV programm)
You don´t have to use an article for TV programms, this seems to work only with BBC specifically.

du sagst es "vielleicht"... ich würde im Alltag nie einen Artikel vor den Namen eines Tv-Senders setzen.... (Die/Der/Das) RTL ist toll... Ich finde (der/die/das) N24 sehr interessant.

Bei BBC scheint das irgendwie zu funktionieren....

Generell passt ein Artikel immer wenn man vorher erwähnt das es um einen Sender geht, z.B.: "Der Fernsehsender RTL zeigt immer ganz tolle Sendungen:"
